HCM Project

Human Capital Management Innovation Project Launched

On January 17, 2023, Arizona State University officially began a two-year project to execute a new human capital management system to improve its current business operations and address future needs.

The purpose of this project is to revamp the HR business processes and implement a new HCM and payroll system. The new system is expected to go live in early 2025 and will provide users with more features and reduce complexities.

Workday HR will eventually eliminate PeopleSoft HR and reduce reliance on other enterprise applications.

Over the next 14 or so months, the implementation project team will design, configure and test the new system. The team will collaborate with ASU departments to integrate their operations and provide system training.
